Open up
Can we please open up about pain.
Why?
Because everybody knows pain. Physical pain, emotional pain, mental illness.
Stress, anxiety, feeling insecure or overwhelmed.
While pretending we’re fine 🤷♀️
And that’s the real cause of trouble; not the feelings but the doing something with it.
Somehow feelings scare us, it’s like an alarm bell ringing; watch out, vulnerability!
Instead of letting whatever wants to come, come - we do something.
We distract ourselves, keep busy, dive into a to-do list, or talk and analyse endlessly.
You know your favorite.
But the feelings still just want to be felt.
It wants to be embraced by you, aware presence ✨
Not with an agenda to transform, heal or disappear.
But to BE whatever it feels like, no matter how long it takes.
Even when it visits you again and again.
There’s really nothing you can do about that.
Pain is in all of us; just life spontaneously unfolding.
So don’t fight it.
And stay where you are 🧡
I’m here if opening up isn’t that easy while feeling pain.
