Being honest

I want only to be honest

No running or excuses
Not to struggle with what is

So that, whenever pain appears
I may allow myself
to feel exactly as it feels

That it overwhelms or knocks me down
Letting me furious or in despair
But that I fall and fall

Landing in the experience as it unfolds

Not needing to go anywhere but here

For only here is home
Each here, anew
In the midst of experience

Knowing that

This Is

Not maybe someday

But here

Simply being

Honest
